Joshua N. Millings

Joshua Millings is a recent graduate of MIT, where he majored in Physics. His studies included quantum, statistical, and classical mechanics; electricity and magnetism; experimental physics; and computer programming as well as classes in pure and applied mathematics.

Joshua conducted research in cosmology and near asymptotic behavior in polynomial potentials at the Institute for Advanced Study at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His work was published in the MIT Undergraduate Research Journal. In addition, Joshua worked as an intern at the MIT Technology Licensing Office (TLO). He collaborated with inventors and MIT TLO staff in marketing over 40 patent applications, disclosures, and PCTs and issued patents for licensing. Joshua’s work encompassed a wide variety of disciplines, including photonics, electronics, semiconductors, optoelectronic integration, wearable devices, chemical sensing, imaging, and wireless communication.

Joshua is a laureate of the Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship, the Li & Fung Scholarship, the Industrial Advisory Council for Minority Education Student Prize, and is a four-time recipient of the Henry Clyde Johnson Scholarship.
