Arvind Reddy has been specializing in intellectual property law for more than fifteen years.  His practice involves patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, noninfringement and freedom-to-operate opinion preparation, and counseling clients on developing and maintaining strategic patent portfolios. Arvind also has extensive experience with managing complex U.S. and foreign patent portfolios for several Fortune 500 companies as well as for many non-public companies.  In this regard, he routinely counsels clients on both U.S. and foreign filing and prosecution strategies.

Arvind has written hundreds of patent applications across a variety of technologies including virtualization, cloud computing, computer architecture, electrical circuitry, electrical and optical communications systems & components, image capture devices, mobile devices, and power systems, among others. He also has expertise in conducting substantive due diligence and negotiation and drafting confidentiality agreements, patent and IP licensing and sales agreements, joint venture agreements, and other IP-oriented agreements.

Prior to joining Artegis, Arvind was a partner at Thomas Horstemeyer, an IP boutique based in Atlanta, GA.  During his tenure at Thomas Horstemeyer, Arvind served on the firm's executive, technology, and recruiting committees and directly oversaw and managed several of the firm’s key client relationships.  Prior to entering the practice of law, Arvind worked as a software engineer for Motorola, developing software for wireless network infrastructure deployments. Arvind also worked as a software engineer for a startup company developing enterprise applications for mobile devices.
