Sean has experience in several areas of intellectual property practice, including patent preparation and prosecution, patent litigation, client counseling and opinion work, patent due diligence and portfolio analysis, and trademark preparation and prosecution. Previously, Sean was an associate at international law firms, where Sean’s practice provided expertise in opinion work related to licensing programs, including patent pools and technical protocols. Sean has represented clients ranging from emerging start-ups to multi-national conglomerates.

Sean has drafted patent applications covering numerous technical fields, including electronics, microelectronic circuits, power electronic circuits and power management, computer hardware and software, cloud computing, mobile technologies, telecommunications devices and networking systems, semiconductor technologies, encoding and decoding systems, feedback systems, network and computer security, and user interfaces.

While attending law school, Sean was Executive Production Editor for the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Quarterly Journal.
